Registration

There are two ways you can register for any class or workshop:
- Give us a call at 425-252-4232 during our regular business hours. We will add you to the class list and can accept card payments over the phone.
- Visit our shop beforehand, and then cash/check/card can be used.

There is generally a waitlist for the popular 7-Week classes. You can call us to get your name added onto that list. Payment is not needed until you actually get registered for a specific session of classes.

 Class Policies

Printouts of detailed class policies are available at our shop. An excerpt of a few key points is provided below.

  • Classes and workshops are to be paid for ahead of time, unless otherwise indicated. Please pay for any glass or sundries bought during the class prior to leaving that day.

    • Intermediate students returning for another 7-week session may pay for the new session on the first day.

  • Attendance at the first class of the 7-week session is mandatory. If a participant cannot make it, he or she will be asked to sign up for a subsequent class session.

  • If you miss a class, there is no opportunity to carry it forward to another session. You have 10 additional hours of studio time outside of the class time to make up for lost progress. This alternate studio time needs to be arranged with us to ensure workspace availability.

  • If you miss three or more of the days in a 7-week session, you may be placed at the end of the waitlist. There are many new students that would love to have the space made available to them, so please be respectful of the teachers’ and prospective students’ time. By missing many classes, you are preventing someone else from learning!

  • Attire - wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.

  • NEVER lift a sheet of glass overheard to look up through it! It will likely break and then shower you in sharp pieces.

  • Tuition refunds

    • Tuition for workshops will be refunded in full if you cancel at least 7 calendar days prior to the class date. This can be done by phone, email, or in-person.

    • If a workshop is cancelled by us due to inclement weather or low enrollment, those who have paid registration will be refunded in full.

  • Fusing workshops

    • Sometimes, ‘Glass Happens.’ Though we try our hardest, projects occasionally come out of a kiln cracked.

    • We are not responsible for failed fusing of projects with glass brought from outside our shop, since we cannot ensure that it’s properly compatible.
