Mosaic Madness

Saturday and Sunday, March 23-March 24, 2019

 Learn the art of working with Italian Millefiori, cane and slices. You will construct a mosaic mirror for an interior location. Construction techniques for the direct method such as preparing the base/support structure, choosing adhesives, applying the grout will be taught. Finishing touches will insure a professional look to your beautiful piece of art.

 Pre-requisite: Meet with instructor prior to class to pick up template. You will need to have your design drawn out on your template * and most of your glass nipped up or cut. You can also include other found objects in your project as well. In the past, some students have used dishes, tiles, shells, and beads. Be creative!

Note:  Choose between a 12” x 15” rectangle or a 14” round plywood base. There are a couple 23 1/2” round bases available for anyone who would like to work on a larger project for an up-charge.

Times: Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
